Research Interests
Dr. Sung’s research focuses on the development of Proteomic technologies for biomolecule characterization and biomarker discovery. In the past two years, he has developed the biochemical analysis platform for lipoprotein characterization and successfully applied to the qualitative analysis of Neisseria meningitidis group b vaccine in cGMP Vaccine Center. Currently, he is working on the identification of MHC-bound peptides as well as their PTMs for the development of peptide-based therapeutic vaccine against virus-induced cancer disease. In the near future, he will also collaborate with France Natural History Museum to initiate the snake venom research in National Institute of Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology and lead a team to generate new antivenin against toxins of Taiwanese poisonous snake
